Vouchers were a type of bait & switch

If a person gave up their seat for a 1000 voucher good for 90 days and then learned it may only be good for a dollar actual airfare, and only for a single itinerary, a reasonable person will consider that fraud. I have succeeded in past years of having large vouchers divided into smaller ones. These companies almost never do things for altruistic reasons. I see that SW just paid out 8 million over baggage fees. Note how now when you confirm your boarding pass, you must first click on agree to terms of carriage, fees, etc. I believe this is a new addition. Frontier is the target of a few lawsuits, so this voucher change is likely preemptive damage control.
