Flights between KUL and KCH and considered domestic and departure is to the Domestic section at the main terminal . You need to allocate at least an hour for your transfer as there is no Aerotrain service and you will be bussed to the main terminal. There is a special domestic immigration line for connecting domestic flights at the main terminal - so do not follow the masses to the main immigration hall.
Last time I did a domestic connection only 1 out of 2 of the autogates were working and only about 1/5 Malaysian passport holders were seemingly successful with the working one. There was 1 fella manning the immigration counter and it took 45 minutes plus for a line of about a dozen or so. I'd therefore reiterate that at least an hour is a good amount of time for the connection and seeing as the main difference between the First section of the satellite lounge and the domestic lounge is the a la carte dining I wonder if you'd have time to enjoy it!
