Is there some kind of consumer rights or licensing body for Seattle that you can report the property to for breaching contractual terms of the booking platform by denying you a refund within the 24-hour ‘cooling-off’ period to which you are entitled?

Hotels pulling this and similar egregious crap should be sanctioned and fined to the fullest extent available, repeat offenders deserve to have their business license revoked - it may be the only way they will ever learn to treat customers fairly.

Hit ‘em hard, hit ‘em often. Grrr!
