OP is arriving from IST which is non-Schengen and must clear immigration upon arrival. Arriving in the evening with a morning departure I believe they want to rest / sleep before their early (8:25 AM) departure to ATL. Most likely, possibly something to eat and a decent night's sleep. Probably up about 4:30 -5 AM ad back to the terminal by 6 - 6:30.

IMO, If they're on a budget and/or inquisitive, CitizenM would be fine and if they want more space or don't want to experiment with the funkiness, the Sheraton or Hilton is their best bet.
