Trying to book some business class flights back from Singapore to London with avios. They all seem to be displaying Q2. Even when checking options of flying from Bali, Hong Kong, Bangkok etc it all seems to be double avios for July 2024. Cycling back through the months it never seems to drop to normal rates. I was interested to read your post - although my routing was slightly different. Ideally I was looking for LON-SIN return. I have been looking for a while for spring onwards 2024 when suddenly all availability dried up except for 2x avios.
Eventually, on 6 Aug I snagged the following routing for 2 ppl in May next year:
LGW-DOH-SGN
and return
KUL-DOH- BHX
They are QR all the way except the KUL-DOH return leg with MY
Total (J Class) 300k avios and approx £1100 (for 2)
No particular tips except perhaps have a look at BHX (instead of LON) and KUL and SGN as starting points as they are easily accessible from SIN.
Also I read that QR flights are restarting from Cardiff soon - might be extra availability.
