In this era of dynamic inventory management - I can tell you that in many cases when the inventory is 2 . . . that booking 1 seat may zero out the other. My other half and me were watching for a particular flight/route to come available . . then there were 3 seats - - after we booked - - it was zeroed out again. This can be a problem occasionally . . I also have had many things where I am booking 1 seat when inventory was 2 . . booking 1 zeroed out the other . . .
