My friend and I are trying to book a flight to Japan from around April to May 2024 separately under different accounts. We see various non-stop flights but they all show "1 seat remaining" for 35k Aeroplan points. We can select seats and progress through the pages up to checkout.

I am interpreting this as Air Canada is only offering 1 seat at this point cost at this time.

I am wondering what happens if we both submit at the same time. I am imagining one of us will get an error or get rejected.

Wondering if anyone has tried and succeeded.
