The trade-off is that the breakfast is provided in the restaurant--and while it is a very busy buffet, it's much more extensive than anything you'd get at a western hemisphere lounge. Fruit selection included dragonfruit, passion fruit, berries, cherries, tamarind, etc. Smoked salmon and cheese were decent. And the omelet stand makes whole fried eggs (or over easy, etc.) to order quite well. The row of hot dishes with "standard" stuff like industrial scrambled eggs, bacon, etc., is no good, but there is plenty other stuff to choose from.

Recommend bringing some Yeti or similar cold-cups and just pouring your own cocktails for pool/beach etc. That said, the cocktails at Nectar (the Puerto Rican joint onsite) were fantastic and worth every penny.

thanks for the info! This is such a bummer as we were there in April and they were working on it at the time and told me it was being remodeled and should open by year end.
