I got a pacemaker two months ago that is airport security-friendly and even MRI-friendly. I've managed to make it through the pre-Check WTMD twice without dying. Anyone can feel the device below my left shoulder right below my skin. What in blazes is a screener from any country going to determine when they feel a lump below my skin? If your doctor advised against screening by WTMD or other specific type technology would you ignore that advice?
Not having a female screener with the required skills on duty is an inexcusable issue. Patdowns are demeaning enough without having it done unwillingly by the opposite sex. CATSA and TSA must be sharing their playbooks with each other.
