I'm currently booking a ex-OSL RTW that goes OSL-LHR-JFK-PHX-LAS-DFW-BOS-LAX-MEL-SYD-SIN-DOH-DXB-DOH-LHR-OSL. I'm stopping in JFK, LAS, BOS, MEL, SYD, SIN, DXB, and LHR.

After having a couple of issues where the rate desk sent the ticket back, the third RTW agent I spoke to at AA converted the ticket from a DONE4 to a DGLOB34, saying it was "the same price". I know it's not the same price, but that the two base prices are close enough that it's not a significant difference.

Is there any reason to prefer one or the other with this sort of routing?
