What happens if one books a Latitude fare for 2024 and instantly upgrades (with eUps expiring Jan 2025) but loses status at the end of 2023? My wife is in this situation. If upgrade sticks, then this would be an exception to the exception.
That's not an exception to the exception. She cleared the upgrade when she had status.
Strictly speaking, I think it's the time of request, not clearing, that matters. But I have no data or policy to back that up.
