I really enjoyed the Melbourne Marriott - they really focused on comfort and friendliness here. Here are my pros, cons, and photos:

Pros:

• Upgraded to a Corner Larger Suite around the evening or morning before arrival
• The suite had comfortable furniture - including the couch and leather desk chairs
• The bed was absolutely fantastic - really plush mattress, plush pillows, and plush covers
• Shower pressure was fantastic and strong - it could get really hot but was able to be adjusted
• A really delicious box of chocolate-covered salted caramel popcorn was waiting for me in the room - love a dessert welcome gift
• Breakfast is only in the restaurant (no lounge breakfast) - quite tasty
  • Good made-to-order omelets
  • Tasty barista coffees
  • Yummy "potato gems"
  • Waffles were pretty good
• Sparkling wine served at check-in - seems bougie though I had a few sips
• Staff was quite friendly as expected in Australia

Neutral:

• M Club does have evening service, but there weren't any desserts

Cons:

• Not much

Overall, I would definitely return.
