I assume this means i have a Y ticket.

I am on standby for those 2 flights. My first time using an ID90 ticket and i am trying to figure out if i have a good chance of making it on any of the planes, preferably the EK16 which is the earlier flight.

Thanks for your earlier response and hoping you can help further with the context i have provided. I am so confused.
Yes, you have a Y ticket but a ticket of this type doesn't mean that you won't go if Y is full - what is more relevant is how many other standby passengers there are with you and their priority (your ticket priority is basically lowest of the low).

The controller/dispatcher will generally start to upgrade people from J into F and Y into J to make space for Y standbys if necessary if payload constraints allow it.

You should also be familiar with the EK staff travel rules especially with regard to conduct and attire - if you are an employee you know where that is, if you are friends and family, your sponsor should make you aware (as you are not departing ex-DXB where the staff check in area has the main rules on display there).
