AC852 is now being offered for an evening departure - 10PM YYZ - 10AM LHR. On a 787 now instead of a 330 - grateful for that. Seems as if again this daytime flight wont operate next year. No months visible in the schedule are offering this - previously it was from April onwards. At least the schedule change was far enough out that allowed me to move since award space was still available, thankfully. If anyone is looking to book award space; I'd avoid this daytime offering - even if tempting, seems like last few years its been scheduled but never operates. The schedule change/cancellation creates a risk of award space being absent at that time -- riskier if you didn't book directly through AC/Aeroplan.
We have been patiently (LOL) for the resumption of the daylight flight from Toronto to London. That was always a very popular route and we have not been able to find any explanation as to why it is not resuming. As you say, it has appeared in the schedule several times and then magically disappears. Has anyone heard any further rumours or have any definite information as to if/when that particular flight will resume?. Presumably the only way to travel in daylight will continue to be via a connection in Halifax (if they keep that as a daylight flight).
