I think I'm most surprised about SFO-MNL being on a 77W....that's a lot of capacity, not to mention premium product, to run daily. Will be really interesting to see how that does, since UA's previous capacity there was a 737 from GUM. Will also be interesting to see if LAX-HKG is a bloodbath or not. Capacity still isn't back to pre-pandemic levels for the market, but competition has always been strong there.
Where was UA with service to HKG before covid hit, wasn't it down to two flights a day? Interesting to see it going to three.
I am so very glad to see Japan and Taiwan capacity increasing, booking flights has not been terribly easy or cheap. I'm especially happy to hear about TPE. Was hoping for LAX-TPE but I will settle for 2X SFO-TPE.
