Exactly what happened. We were stuck at Penn and they kept making an announcement that we were delayed because of an Amtrak signal and would be moving within five minutes and it went on for a half hour and then they said it would be up to ninety more minutes so I immediately paged an uber and left the train and it was there 15 minutes later and was more than happy to pay that or I would have missed my flight and I had the $15 AmEx credit that helped. There were no cabs at all and others did the same thing and were getting quoted 45 minute wait times I offered to share my uber with a guy who didn't want to wait and he gave me $20 and tipped the driver so after the AmEx credit I was only out about $5
