Think carefully before you accept an upgrade here! There are larger rooms with balconies (labeled as either "Larger Guest room, 1 King, Sofa bed" or "Extended King Guest Room with Balcony") that are very loud. They face railroad tracks and the balcony door has no soundproofing. The front desk offered the upgrade to me but was clear about the noise issue and there are plenty of complaints on public review sites about very loud noise early in the morning.

Instead, they recommended the first floor wing behind the front desk as a quiet part of the hotel. Unfortunately these are accessible rooms and the design isn't great but it is certainly quieter. See full review here.
