edit : Called EXP help-desk and they confirmed the following : Miles and fees would be REFUNDED but customers would have to re-book another flight / route on their own. There would be no considerations, if the new flight would be more miles
Not really, you still have a contract to get from LAX to CDG. If the flight was canceled and you
opt for a refund of the miles, then you are on your own. If you don’t accept a refund, you can lean on TN and/or AA for rebooking, depending on when the flight is canceled. Unfortunately without the stick of EC 261, there’s no urgency to get you rebooked.
