Without the cancellation, it's too early for AA to act.
Generally speaking -
If the partner airline cancel the flight before the Day-of-Travel, call back to AA once the flight is canceled. You shouldn't have any problems to get AA to rebook you at no extra charge.
See
Schedule Change (aa.com) for guidelines. This is technically for Travel Agents, but from my experience it's a good framework for what you could ask for when working with AA.
If the cancellation is on the day of travel, then it's the operating responsibility's rebook. You could try asking AA nicely for rebooking on AA Prime flights - you being an EXP probably helps, but no guarantees.
If AA publish a travel alert for TN, then whatever the terms are in the Travel alert you can ask for.
Looking at 07/15 for 2 Seats in Business Class CDG-LAX, options on AA Prime are CDG-PHL-LAX or CDG-DFW-LAX; both with about a 4-hours connection.
That PHL option have 7 seats for sale. You should be alright.
