I believe BOA and Alaska have a slightly different arrangement (and procedures) than the usual card issuer/loyalty program arrangement. Just received the first statement for my new BOA Alaska Visa, looked at my Alaska account and I see 12 miles fewer that statement total charges (balance less AFs) posted to Alaska 4 days PRIOR to statement date.

Chase UR points post on the statement, Chase partner loyalty program points and miles usually post 1-3 days after statement. AmEx MR usually post 24 hours after statement payment received or statement date (which comes later), AmEx partner points and miles usually post a day or 2 after statement date.

So, 4 days prior is different than all Chase and AmEx cards. Is 4 days prior usual and expected? (Doesn’t make it easy to spend just $0.37 or a dollar or 2 over the minimum for the SUB.) Thank you.
