Do you have any "potato chip aisle" pics? I rarely enter Chinese supermarkets like Lianhua (because I'd rather go to FamilyMart if those are the only two options), but whenever I do, I make it a point to check out the flavors that marketers deem to be winners....some truly wild concepts, and at least 50 at a time in big stores. FamilyMart and Lawson are also guilty of hawking the same product, but they can only display 5 at a time, and are a little selective.
Surprising chip flavors indeed abound in China ... but Thailand puts those to shame.
Rather, one can find Chinese Lay's, as well as British crisps, Thai Lay's, and whatever else East Asia produces in fried potato form.
