I don't find them to be more expensive than most of the other stores we're discussing in this thread, though they did soak us pretty hard during lockdown (e.g. give them Y650 and they put together boxes comprised of random stuff, some of which they were clearly just dumping). I'm pretty sure they are online only.

Items will cater to foreigners, prices are fair especially when compared to Ole or City Super.

Just a tip (in case anyone stumbles across this 'issue' like I just did testing the store out): Choose AIR delivery for Beijing, NOT land delivery. I was thinking this store isn't very good as it barely has any items...until I switched to AIR delivery! WOW!

It's still heavily SHANGHAI focused (no bread for Beijing!), but beggars can't be choosers!

Went to Sam's Club in Beijing for the first time ever.
All I can say is: WOW!

I am both thrilled to have finally gone there, and at the same time relieved that I haven't gone there before (now RMB 2000.00 lighter....)

Went to a new supermarket just opened in Beijing outlet malls called 7 fresh, believe it has some tie up with JD but don't quote me on that one.

Hope that helps.

Two options: ~RMB 210 basic and ~ RMB 600 for VIP (or whatever it's called). Those are yearly fees.
As a non-Chinese ID holder, membership application is only possible in-store, not on the app.

Yes, mainly cater to foreigners and have lots of in-house made prepared foods like lasagne and casserole dishes

I think in Shanghai, JDL is also a popular choice for grocery shopping. And if you already have a Taobao account, you can use it to order groceries online as well.

If you are in Shenzhen, NOGOGO is a good option.
You can also order from other cities online options such as Charlies in Guangzhou and Breakast Champion
Both offer good food at good prices and fast delivery
