SACL could easily add a sign saying something like “please allow uniformed air crew priority in the queue - to help with on time flight departures”. It’s done elsewhere in the world.
i was referring to customs on arrivals. I do not think QF schedule staff from one intl to another. Or?
No issue at departures for working staff to get to flights, shops, lounges etc first. But on arrival the QF staff - I have noted other airlines join the end of the queue, and the QF pilots queue to be fair as well - tend to make an unfortunately poor attempt at picking a kink in the line and then accomodating (ie pushing) themselves in. We have all just arrived, all tired, families to get home to etc. no need to push in.
