Just curious how useful this actually is. I suppose if I check early and I'm #20 on the list, then I know I'm not getting the upgrade, but the few times I tried it, I was always #1 on the list. But ofcourse at the gate, I end up #1 on the list (after everyone has cleared), sometimes lower. Outside if IRROPS, I assume the people that are above me on the list are buying last minute (higher fare) tickets or applying instruments just before the flight.

I found the old diditclear site more useful in helping me judge my chances of an upgrade, though that didn't really have enough datapoints.
