I am referring to rude CISF security staff; and IRROPS or lost or delayed baggage situations where they had to deal with rude staff for filing paperwork, getting a stamp from Customs officials on that paperwork before they can exit, etc.
it’s well documented that CISF is made of Hindi only staff.
I speak Hindi fluently, so language is no impediment anywhere.
But I have observed this from friends and slightly aged relatives traveling for the first time abroad.
I agree with you on some points: language is NOT the sole criterion for them or any of them…but if all things being more or less equal, especially fares, then they ask me to buy tickets (on their behalf) to avoid flying in/out of DEL or BOM. That is just a preference…more than anything.
