The China flights are complicated.

It seems the US is allowing Chinese airlines more capacity on the condition they don't overfly Russia (thus avoiding having an advantage over US airlines flying the same routes). Canada hasn't gone this route yet and the CAAC (China's regulator) will not give Canadian airlines more flights without Chinese airlines getting equal treatment.

I think AC will be stuck with whatever they are flying from Vancouver until we let more Chinese flights in.
