Perhaps they have no perception of that as a priority? For better or worse... "Expensive" but with no rel benefits... :-)
I don't think it's unreasonable to ponder whether this company has the analytical and executional chops to optimize its route network, resource planning, or capital allocation flawlessly.
However this might be something they are aware is needed?
Another possibility being that they are confident about their capability to deal with this. While their tools actually largely implementing wishful thinking?
Never underestimate their capability of doing stupid or amateurish things. :-)
For most rational folks the benefits to the bottom line of an efficient, reliable booking tool are obvious. But seemingly not to them.
(Incidentally, my feeling is that part of the current issues might be related to their link to Amadeus having insufficient bandwith. But eh, presumably that's expensive. :-) Penny wise pound foolish has applied to them as long as I can remember. Buying the max was one good example.
