I am doing a similar plan but on first with JL, HND - HKG and HKG - SGN prposed on CX with 1.5 hours of transit in September (a last minute change of final destination). Would I be able to board the CX flight, as long as I check-in at the transfer desk? This would be in late August; hopefully typhoons do not delay the JL flight. Otherwise, would buying a CX flexible ticket be worth it to change my flight to the following date?
