FQTR (R for redemption), FQTS (S for status), FQTU (U for upgrade), and FQTV (for mileage accrual) are different fields in the GDS. Not every airline allows all fields to be used, and I don't have 1st-hand experience with BA, but it is technically possible to associate QR FFP to a BA redemption.
