How long was the time between the first ring on the room phone and the knock on the door this evening?
Nobody else has been in my room. The calling was just prior. I have stayed in hotels literally thousands of times and placed the sign on the door every single time. I have never had someone insist I give a rationale for why nor have I ever given a hotel a heads up.
