My question is this appears to be a "known issue" for at least
four years. LH seems to have every other Star Alliance program automated. Is it really so difficult to add Aeroplan to the drop-down menu in the booking engine?
100% agree. Also, I could be misremembering but I'm pretty sure this was fixed for a period of time, but now seems to have resurfaced?
Maybe the problem returned the introduction of the TravelID universal login system. When that debacle was first rolled out, the
Aeroplan number that was associated with my previous LH account disappeared, and
trying to add it would result in an error. And
adding a non-M&M FFP number was also not possible if logged into TravelID (though it
remained possible if logged out). I thought this
problem was fixed some weeks later, but perhaps not quite...
