Independent of e-gate failure at LHR, the waits to clear UK border have been very long this week as schools are on half term. Two days ago arriving on United (prior to egate failure) it took me half hour in a winding line before getting through the egate). The officers were calling people out who had children into a separate line but I dont know if that went faster.

Heathrow is currently trialing egates for children 10 and over. Under 10 have to see an agent but if your kids are more than 10 they can use egate.

No. Also no FastTrack for Polaris as not been restored post-COVID.
