Thank you both for the responses. You're correct that the luxury-factor is pretty much a non-negotiable. So we'll stay away from the Delta or Marriott for this trip.

For young kids, they have a strong grasp of the ball-players' names & faces and they're young enough where the ballplayers actually love them back. The kids would enjoy that and fortunately are aware enough to know that they cant be a nuisance to the players (and we'll be there to make sure of it!). As an aside, I dont think I have any bigger pet-peeve than grown adults elbowing out an 8-year kid for a baseball player autograph. I imagine the players feel the same.

...anyway, based on your advice, I have booked a Ritz Carlton Club Suite for the moment at least.

It showed as US$3803 all-in on Amex and on the confirmation email, but when I pull it up on Bonvoy it's showing CD$5,134. I realize that the USD on Amex is an estimate based on yesterday's currency rates-- but that's miles apart from where they should be. I checked again and I cant get the FHR site to quote in local currency. Hmmm...
