Long-time no-post--- I still see some familiar handles; I hope everyone is well.

I need a Toronto recommendation. I cannot recall the last time I was there, so let's assume I know absoloutely nothing about the city anymore. I am coming in with partner and 2 children 5-10 years old. We're going to 4 Blue Jay games at Rogers Centre. All weekdays, no weekend. We will book into a suite via FHR so not too concerned about upgrade potential, but it's always a bonus. Big points awarded for a Club Level, and a few points awarded for a pool. But this post is about neighborhood.

I fear the downtown core with Shangri La, Ritz Carlton, St Regis will be sterile from a local-area perspective, but I like the short walk to the ballpark. So I am considering Four Seasons which seems to be in a more interesting part of the city, but the mass transit route to the stadium seems straining and I assume they dont have a house car that could handle the trip both ways. Is the downtown area interesting enough these days to not worry about neighborhood?

Taking in all of the above, a recommendation would be appreciated.
