I gave up on changing my ticket to Business Classic and instead just changed the dates, but kept Premium Economy Flex. Beside the fact that I did not have the option to go to Premium Economy Classic - they charged me $200 more than the fare difference to Premium Economy Flex that was available at that time. It appears that when you are changing dates in the ticket they will not let you go to a lower fare class even if you stay within their Flex/Classic ranking. So they priced my new ticket in a higher fare class than what was available at the time in Flex...
I have requested the change rules to be emailed to me. I am still waiting. I will share when I get them.
I have also kept requesting the supervisor callbacks - they keep saying someone will call me within 24 hours, and it is now 5th day I am waiting. One of the agents told me basically they they will never call me. They indicated that they do the callbacks by urgency, and mine would not be considered urgent. I think this just about fits with the rest of their pattern of operation. I can't wait to be done with this flight so I never have to fly this airline again.
