That would seem more LA than bay area to me, and would in any event be flatly inconsistent with the reality. While there is plenty not to like about the bay area these days, dull or flavorless food is not on that list. I suspect the crap CL SFO food is, and has always been, mostly about cost. Because the bay area is the most expensive place in the country.

I don't know, but they have become unavoidable at SFO, regardless which lounge you choose.
