I'm in a similar position. Was due to fly in Y/Y+ from ADL-MEL (Y)-MEL-SIN(Y+)-SIN-LHR(Y+) getting 190 status credits, which would then become 380 due to double status credits. Today I got an email telling me I was involuntarily downgraded to Y on MEL-SIN leg. I phoned the call centre and am now flying ADL-PER (Y) and PER-LHR (Y+) but am getting 20 fewer status credits (i.e. 40 in total). I was told I would still get double status credits for the flights but am a bit p****d off as those 40 status credits would have put me into Platinum. Any thoughts? Is there an email address that is best to contact as i've been passed from call centre to call centre without an answer.
