Do you know how to register for the Face ID lanes? I departed on April 29th in the morning (on TG) ands waiting time was about one hour, with both securities open (although not all counters). Face ID was less crowded, but it seems to have been available only for JL and NH pax. I did not fully get how it works.
This was the first time I epxerienced such crowds in Haneda on the outbound side, I'm usually departing overnight and it has always been a breeze. Now it looked like a total mess, I have only seen this long waiting times at Chinese airports before.
I do not know how to register for this service - although to be clear it just brings you to the front of the security line / it’s not like the priority lane…. Based on some other posts here there is an area near check in that you can register for the service - when we come back home to Japan next month we will check out out - for now I would greatly recommend people fly from NRT if they have the choice…..
