This is an excellent description for what T3 is, although I would say it was designed for chartered flights and not for LCC, as they did not exist at that time. For an unknown reason, this terminal was called T9 for many years, until ADP finally decided to call it logically T3.
To OP : of course, you'll find coffee and food. Just set your expectation level very low and everything will be fine
