Read the FAQ I understand there's some "unexplained" situations (that revenue management won't reveal) where one might be upgraded even when R=0.
Hoping to get some explanation though on why my Premium Economy (Flex) booking was waitlisted for an upgrade to J, when R=0, while another booking on the same flight in Latitude cleared immediately - even with R space still at 0. I made this booking while on the phone with an agent at the Contact Centre and when pressing them on the question, they told me to contact customer relations and hung up on me
I suppose this means O and Y fares are treated differently?
And reading up on some old threads, is it no longer valid that O/Y fares upgrade based on R as well as P/Z space?
