This is indeed fairly new. Not sure how new exactly though. Flew four segments with them mid April... trying to retro-claim fails miserably though.

The boarding passes do contain the Flying Blue # and ITA successfully recognised status. Not only Elite Plus, but also that I had Platinum status specifically. So there does seem to be some kind of integration between FB and ITA.
