From my VERY limited knowledge, it is not a "Bayern" ticket, as that would be a similar ticket for the Bavaria region. It would be a ticket for the Hesse region... Hessenticket maybe?

Oops, good point. Last trip was to Cologne, so the mistake. But do those tickets allow you to cross regions? I am a bit fuzzy on the borders.
