Just my preference, but I like to walk up and bus back down.

I'd skip this with only 4 nights in HK, although if one's not planning on visiting again for a few years then yes, add Macau but you "lose" a HK day.

Agreed. I've not been since pre-pandemic and I've been told by a local that the area's not the same since, with many places shut, but I'd still stay around TST. Shame the airport express station isn't nearby.
