With all of the recent passings I finally remembered that I hadn't posted anything over here about Dad's passing. I was so relieved and humbled to see that the community had already taken that step for me. When you lose someone close often times it becomes difficult to keep track of the things that you have done and the things that are left to be done. I know that Dad would have been honored by all the tributes that were left by the community. He really enjoyed meeting each and every one of you. Even as his health deteriorated over the last several years he kept trying to figure out ways to keep traveling. It was only when COVID hit did he stop traveling. He lived his life to the fullest. While miss him as my father, what I really am missing is my travel buddy. I could always suggest somewhere to go and he would somehow make it happen. And Mom was happy for us to go as she really wasn't up for all of the crazy travel.
