I don’t recall the package saying either. I looked at the sea scallops in the freezer. I believe they are U15. And $30 a pound.

agreed. That's how this all started. It is a discussion about forgetting to put a dish/tray under a plastic bag when thawing.
I usually remember to at least put a paper towel under any protein I’m thawing in the fridge. And if I don’t, I get spoken to.
