We had 3 bags delivered 22 hours late and completely wrecked on Jan 22. We have been through “baggage delivery”, “uk reservations” online messaging and even had a meeting with a senior representative in the Plat lounge late March. They have been beyond bad and have wasted time to the extent that over 50 exchanges of correspondence have ensued. It looks like I’m going to have to issue a court claim in The UK but am doing everything to avoid!
Shockingly, I think what expedited it was I filed the form immediately at ARN with Menzies and the worker there seemed quite incensed what had happened (one bag was missing and the other was doused in vodka - I don’t drink nor carried alcohol). She was pretty insistent with Finnair about resolving it quickly and all in took about 45 days, which could have been significantly shortened.

Have you considered perhaps making a tweet about it? It’s silly we have to resort to such things but I’ve found it effective.
