Certainly makes sense to expand to the Gulf. The recent soothing of political relations between Iran and KSA, reduces the risk profile of the region. I wondered how AC could make a profit on its Indian routes. now that Air India is making an effort to improve, it may just be best to leave India to Air India.
Expect Manila to be a destination at some point and also expect the Bangkok route season to be expanded. I will never fly an AC route through mainland China again. Bad lounges, bad service and poor OTP, so I hope that AC takes the hint and scales back its mainland routes. A route to Singapore would be great, maybe even doing what Swiss does with a leg to Bangkok.
