So if you're someone who likes to use the bathroom first thing in the morning then shower this means you go into the tiny closet bathroom on the left then walk to the shower. If you're perhaps sharing a room with your daughter as I was it's a little awkward. It also meant for again an absolutely tiny little toilet closet and a small shower room too.
This design has been around for more than 10 years - I remember staying at one in Alaska in 2010. More recent Springhills have moved back to a combined 1 room bathroom, but still in a similar position.
I think that separate toilet and shower is great when you're traveling multiple with people.
