I also am trying the chauffeur service...Anywho, thanks again for the guidance
If you can't get A or K seats, take B or J as the next option. They are still window seats, although the seat is a bit away from the window. But they do have the handy storage bins under the windows.

As far as where in the cabin to sit, let me give you my thinking, which is personal and may or me not be applicable to you:
Later this week, mrs t and I are flying AMS/DXB/JNB.
First leg is EK148 leaving AMS at 15h20. We will most likely have our pre-meal drinks at the bar / lounge and possibly something afterwards as well. As we arrive DXB around midnight which is 10pm (I think) AMS time, it is unlikely that we'll want to sleep a lot so we are in 23E/F.
Next leg is EK761. Leaves DXB 4am, so will want to sleep, arrives JNB 10:15. So no need for bar / lounge (will have been in the lounge at DXB anyway). So we are in 14E/F, easier to get to the seat when boarding and quicker off the aircraft after arrival.

I would avoid rows 25 and 26 as you are pretty close to the bar. It does not often get noisy (at least in my experience, though I have never flown MAN which seems to be notorious...), but row 23 and 24 are OK.

Yes, use the chauffeur service. In London it's pretty good. You'll get an email from Addison Lee about 2 days before departure / arrival to conform. On arrival there is a small 'lounge' to report to where you can then wait for your driver to come and fetch you (usually a few minutes).
