Not really. Most airlines focus on local "high end" brands... and in a vast majority of cases I'm sure travelers are as ignorant as I am about that brand. Plus there are plenty of slightly recognizable Indian brands internationally and focus on high quality local products like ayurvedic, sandal wood, cotton, khadi etc. would have been far better and more unique brand statement for AI.
